About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory Care role performs duties and responsibilities within the scope of nursing practice related to patient care in an ambulatory setting. The nurse participates in patient and family teaching while working cooperatively with the physician or advanced practice practitioner and other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current applicable state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of the start date.
Nice To Haves
- One year of LPN experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the ambulatory setting within the scope of nursing practice.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Work cooperatively with the physician or advanced practice practitioner and other members of the healthcare team.
