LPN Licensed Practical Nurse $7,500 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions, assigning duties, instructing CNAs, and providing them with clinical supervision. The employer is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned healthcare organization with more than 200 locations across the United States.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
