About The Position

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider (MD, NP, PA, etc.). The role delivers high-quality clinical support, ensures patient safety, and promotes wellness through skilled nursing, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team. The position is full-time on nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. The listed pay range is $27.44–$38.41. Requirements

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Education Program approved by the State of Maryland.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing wound care, obtaining specimens for laboratory examinations, and carrying out provider orders for routine treatments in accordance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and Regulations.
Monitors patients for changes in condition and promptly reports concerns to supervising clinicians.
Collects patient health information and accurately documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Assists RNs and providers with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans.
Supports patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and care plans.
Maintains infection control standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Maintains medical supplies, equipment, and inventory as needed.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
