LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse- Private Duty (Days)
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care to an adult client in Nashville, Tennessee. The position is based through the Murfreesboro office and follows the client's plan of care while supporting the client's dignity and independence. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role offers independent work with team support and flexible scheduling options. Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides compassionate care in patients' homes and supports patients, families, and caregivers. Requirements
- LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
- Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
- Professional CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of nursing experience.
- Home health care experience.
- G-tube experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one care according to the client's plan of care while maintaining the client's dignity and independence.
- Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed under the plan of care, and assess and report results.
- Accurately document care provided, nursing actions, communications, progress, and outcomes related to established goals.
- Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client's medical condition and needs.
- Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to ensure adequate quantities are available.
- Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
