About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work day shifts in Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing home settings. The schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts, with the expectation of working every other weekend. Overtime is possible based on availability.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a LTC or nursing home environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Assist residents with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor and document patient health progress and report changes to the supervising nurse.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
