About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care on a nursing unit as directed by an RN. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a PRN day position at Fargo Rehab.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience; preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
