About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse may also perform other related duties as assigned or requested. The position is PRN and offers day shifts with stated shift times of 6:30 am/pm–7 am/pm. The hourly rate is $37–$40, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $4 per hour through shift differentials.
Requirements
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
