About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for its Ocoee Rehab location. The LPN/LVN provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Care must be appropriate to the patient’s age and population. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Hold current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Have current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Have current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner and consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
