About The Position

Parkside Care, a Caldera Care facility, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to patients and support their health and well-being. The role includes administering and documenting medications, treatments, vital signs, symptoms, and patients’ general condition; reinforcing health care instructions for patients and their families; and working with the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and other patient activities. The LPN also assists with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, and may assist with unit management or assume charge of a unit as assigned.

This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The listed pay range is $33.00–$44.35 per hour, depending on experience. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered to full-time hires and paid in quarterly installments during the first year. Requirements

• Current and valid LPN license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.

• First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administer, observe, and record medications, treatments, vital signs, symptoms, and the patient's general condition.
• Reinforce, support, and provide health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of a unit as assigned.
