Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN Shifts
About The Position
Cascade is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses from Fort Scott and surrounding southeast Kansas communities for PRN shifts in Nevada, Missouri. The assignment is in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting, with pay of up to $35 per hour. Nurses can choose from available shifts through the mobile app and receive weekly pay, with optional daily pay advances. The role includes 24/7 support from real people. The work includes typical LPN responsibilities in long-term care and skilled nursing, such as medication administration, treatments, documentation, monitoring changes in residents’ conditions, and communicating with facility staff. Nurses are expected to work independently within their scope, be dependable and plan to work consistently, and travel to Nevada, Missouri. Reliable transportation is required.
Requirements
- Active Missouri LPN license.
- At least 6 months of recent LPN experience.
- Current BLS/CPR.
- Reliable transportation and willingness and ability to travel to Nevada, Missouri for shifts.
- Current TB test, documented by a 2-step TB test, chest X-ray, or IGRA.
- Dependability and readiness to work consistently.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and provide treatments in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting.
- Complete documentation.
- Monitor changes in residents’ conditions.
- Communicate with facility staff.
- Work independently within the LPN’s scope of practice.
