About The Position
Centurion is the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, Illinois. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs. The position is a day shift from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM and pays $36.23 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
