About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private-duty home care in Battle Creek, Albion, and surrounding areas. The role uses a one-on-one care model, allowing nurses to focus on an individual patient in the comfort of their home. The work includes meaningful home care visits and consistent shift work, with time to provide thorough clinical care and build lasting professional connections with patients. Nurses are expected to provide customized, patient-centered care that honors each individual's preferences and abilities.

Requirements

• Current Michigan nursing license.
• Proven nursing experience.
• Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Compassionate demeanor and good communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one private-duty nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Deliver thorough, quality clinical care tailored to patients' preferences and abilities.
