About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing urological procedures. The RN or LPN supports the Urology team by assisting with patient preparation, procedure support, recovery, and discharge in an outpatient setting.

Requirements

Graduation certificate from an accredited nursing (LPN) program, required
Current state licensure, required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required
Graduation certificate from an accredited nursing (RN) program, required
Current state licensure, required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), required
Completion of Moderate Sedation course, required
IV certification, required
Proficient at patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, IV insertions, and administering Moderate Sedation
Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Composure in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
Dependable, punctual, and highly detail‑oriented
Strong multitasking and independent‑work capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Accurate documentation skills
Ability to follow established workflows consistently
Knowledge of ASC procedures, infection control practices and emergency response protocols

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience, preferred (for LPN)
Completion of state approved IV certification course, preferred (for LPN)
Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of nursing experience, with prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, critical care, or procedural areas, preferred (for RN)
