About The Position
Responsible for assisting with professional nursing care for SIH patients in a family medicine office setting. The role assists a physician or mid-level provider and supports patient care needs, room preparation, patient and family instructions, and the orientation of new employees and students. No technical experience is necessary.
Requirements
- Graduate of an LPN program or CMA program.
- Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant credential.
- BLS required.
- No experience necessary.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and plan patient care needs.
- Assist a physician or mid-level provider in an office setting.
- Set up, stock, and clean patient rooms as needed.
- Provide patient and family instructions.
- Assist in orienting new employees and students.
