About The Position

Anchor Post Acute is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their award-winning team. This role involves providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure the highest quality of care is maintained in compliance with all regulations. Requirements

  • Nursing Degree from an Accredited College or University
  • ACTIVE, Unencumbered South Carolina LPN License
  • Ability to Work 12-Hour Shifts
  • Ability to Work Weekends
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing.
  • Must remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Fast-Paced, High-Admissions Healthcare Setting Preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents.
  • Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner.
  • Complete and file required recordkeeping forms.
  • Participate in the development, planning, and scheduling of in-service training classes.
  • Implement and maintain an effective orientation program for new employees.
  • Participate in the infection control program.
  • Ensure that personal protective equipment is available and used correctly.
  • Review care plans daily and ensure they are being followed.
  • Assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
  • Consult with the resident’s physician regarding care and treatment.
  • Notify the resident’s attending physician and next-of-kin of changes in condition.
  • Carry out restorative and rehabilitative programs.
