Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN | Acute Dialysis
About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Acute Renal Dialysis. The role is part of a team providing quality care to patients with acute and chronic dialysis needs. The LPN cares for patients with kidney disease or injury and provides renal dialysis and apheresis. The position is 0.75 FTE, or 60 hours every two weeks. Shifts are 12 hours, with schedules of 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. or 5:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. The schedule includes every third weekend, with an in-house Friday and Saturday shift. Emplify Health describes itself as a not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network formed through a partnership between Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, based in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wisconsin. The network has 11 hospitals and more than 100 clinics serving 67 cities across Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Post-high-school education in a specialized field, with course requirements qualifying the candidate to take the LPN boards.
- LPN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Responsibilities
