About The Position
This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working PRN (as needed) in the Millard-Henry Family Practice clinic at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. The role involves providing compassionate care to patients, assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The LPN will work approximately 1-2 shifts per week, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. The clinic team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Current state LPN license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS required within six months of hire
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and conducting intakes
- Assisting providers with in-clinic procedures
- Answering phones
- Providing patient results
- Supporting clinic patients throughout their time in the clinic
