About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. The role includes gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner, in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This PRN day-shift position is with PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken, a new rehabilitation hospital scheduled to open in the fall. Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
