Central Texas Plumbing SolutionsWaco, TX
Onsite

About The Position

Central Texas Plumbing Solutions (CTPS) is a Waco-based, full-service commercial and residential plumbing contractor serving customers across service and maintenance & repair, new construction, and major remodel work throughout Central Texas. CTPS is an employee-owned company. CTPS is hiring an experienced, licensed plumber to join our team. This role covers hands-on installation, service, and repair work for commercial and residential customers. You will be assigned to either our Service / Maintenance & Repair team or our New Construction / Remodel team based on experience and current need. You will work independently on job sites, represent CTPS directly with customers and general contractors, and mentor less-experienced techs and apprentices on your crew.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience.
  • A current Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber license -- required.
  • Solid working knowledge of both commercial and residential plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own time on a job site, and represent CTPS professionally with customers and GCs.
  • A valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation, if assigned to Service/M&R.
  • A strong track record of quality workmanship and code-compliant installs.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems -- water, waste, vent, and gas -- in commercial and residential settings.
  • Diagnose and resolve service issues efficiently, or execute new construction / remodel rough-in through trim work to plan and spec, depending on assignment.
  • Read and work from blueprints, plumbing plans, and specifications on new construction and remodel projects.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, general contractors, and property managers on-site.
  • Ensure all work meets Texas plumbing code and passes local Waco-area permitting and inspection requirements.
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time on job through ServiceTitan.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and company vehicle.
  • Mentor apprentices and less-experienced plumbers on the crew.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed (Service/M&R roles).

Benefits

  • Employee ownership: a real stake in the company's success, not just a paycheck.
  • Competitive pay, commensurate with experience and license level.
  • Steady, diversified work across commercial and residential service, new construction, and major remodel projects.
  • A growing team with room to lead and mentor.
