About The Position

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at HCA Healthcare, you will provide individualized care to help patients restore mobility and independence. You will deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training, apply physical therapy techniques and modalities, monitor patient progress, document responses, and teach patients and families about assistive devices and home exercise programs. You will work with physical therapists, nurses, aides, and the broader care team. The role offers access to educational assistance, career growth paths, and scheduling flexibility. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date. The position is with Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, a full-service acute care hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Requirements

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas.
Associate degree.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
