About The Position
Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join its team at its Daytona Beach, Florida facility. The role assists physical therapists in administering a range of physical therapy interventions to patients with various diagnoses. The assistant helps patients regain strength, mobility, and independence and works with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and exercise programs.
- Implement and progress patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes according to facility policies and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
