About The Position
Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a creative and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative care to senior patients in senior living communities. As a member of an on-site rehabilitation team, the assistant provides services under specific medical orders as part of coordinated care. The role includes delivering attentive, one-on-one therapy and functional treatments using a holistic, patient-centered approach. The position offers mentorship, hands-on experience with innovative technologies and therapeutic treatments, and opportunities to advance a career, pursue clinical interests, and develop subject matter expertise. Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science degree in the area of discipline.
- Current license in the state of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
- Provide one-on-one therapy services to residents.
- Administer functional treatments emphasizing a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.
