About The Position

Ward Road Pharmacy is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to accurately fill prescriptions, manage customer interactions, coordinate deliveries, and maintain inventory. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, customer-focused, and willing to assist with special projects.

Requirements

Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred

Responsibilities

Accurately fill prescriptions using vials or blister packs
Measure medication dosages per prescription orders
Understand and comply with labeling and regulatory requirements
Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally
Redirect clinical inquiries to pharmacists as needed
Troubleshoot delivery issues with patients, couriers, and healthcare providers
Verify patient information (DOB, address, insurance, etc.)
Ensure HIPAA-compliant communication and documentation
Coordinate with pharmacists for patient consultations
Confirm deliveries and follow protocols with internal and external couriers
Reconcile delivery batches in pharmacy systems
Organize and file paperwork per policy and legal standards
Monitor and restock essential supplies (vials, labels, printer paper, etc.)
Support inventory tracking and expired product checks
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace (including public and staff areas)
