About The Position
PDS Optical is seeking a full-time Licensed Optician based out of Providence, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, experienced, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working with Veterans and providing friendly, professional, and expedient service while ensuring patient satisfaction and supporting an efficient, positive team environment. The position requires a background check to meet security clearance requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends. The pay range is $28–$30 per hour. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered after 30 days of employment, and the stated annual value of the health and welfare benefit is $9,172.80.
Requirements
- Must be a Rhode Island Licensed Optician.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dependable and self-motivated.
