About The Position

The Licensed Optician ensures delivery of the Target Optical Way and the Guest Experience, embracing the mindsets of being people focused, collaborative, accountable to results, thinking differently, and keeping the experience simple, fun, and in style. The role delivers an engaging fashion and eyewear experience by accurately fitting and dispensing products, building guest relationships, and supporting daily sales goals. The position also requires following operating policies and procedures, implementing approved marketing and merchandising programs, completing transactions accurately, and maintaining professional partnerships with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host. This is a part-time role at Target Optical.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensed as required by the state.
At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
Basic computer skills.
Selling skills.
Ability to drive for results.
Self-motivation.
Critical thinking.
Accountability.
Accuracy in measurements.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily sales goals through flawless execution of Guest Experience behaviors.
Provide a simple, fun, and in-style fashion experience through the Playground Rules.
Build brand awareness by attracting new guests from the Host to Optical each day.
Develop and maintain a professional business partnership with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host.
Model the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
Create an amazing guest experience on every visit by accurately fitting and dispensing fashionable products.
Follow operating policies and procedures, including training, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing, merchandising programs, and promotions.
Complete sales transactions accurately and utilize sales strategies and resources.
Ensure accuracy in all transactions and interactions with guests.
