About The Position

The Licensed Optician helps lead a Ray-Ban Luxury Retail store by building and maintaining a strong client following and consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience that exceeds service and sales expectations. The role supports the Store Manager in ensuring optical quality controls are followed and finished eyewear meets Luxury Retail standards for accuracy. The position involves guiding customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their lifestyle, wardrobe, prescription, and price needs; taking and recording measurements accurately; adjusting and fitting eyewear; maintaining product knowledge, sales-floor and back-office presentation, and inventory controls; and supporting store policies, events, and team development. The Licensed Optician trains and mentors managers and associates and leads by example in accordance with Luxottica Retail’s vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

High school diploma.
State licensure or certification as an optician by a nationally recognized opticianry association.
At least 2 years of sales experience in the luxury service industry.
Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
Natural ability to build a client following.
Sales experience.
Polished appearance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Computer skills.
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Support the setup and execution of events.
