Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - Endoscopy - Full Time
About The Position
The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) works as a Clinical Assistant in the Endoscopy unit, part of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center’s Surgical Services. Clinical Assistants combine Health Unit Coordinator and Licensed Nursing Assistant responsibilities. As members of the Patient Care Services team, they assist with patient care, coordinate administrative functions in assigned patient care areas, and facilitate patient flow throughout the department. The Endoscopy unit has multiple procedure rooms and performs 12–28 outpatient and inpatient procedures per day. Procedures include GI and pulmonology procedures and outpatient bone marrow biopsies; most patients receive anesthesia. The team works flexible shifts and takes call shifts to provide emergent care to the community. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, with a first-shift schedule of 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Completion of an LNA program.
- Active LNA licensure in the state of New Hampshire.
- Basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and other patient care needs.
