About The Position

Benchmark is seeking compassionate LNA/HHA/PCA team members to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The role is offered in full-time day and evening shifts and part-time day and evening shifts. A person without certification may be trained for the position.

Requirements

• A valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is required; the employer will train the right person who does not have certification.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to provide residents with exceptional, meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
