About The Position

The Licensed Nurse administers medications to residents and assists with other aspects of their daily care and routine. The nurse stores medications and equipment properly, keeps the medication room clean and orderly, and accurately maintains resident records related to medication distribution. The nurse ensures prescription labels and storage procedures meet state standards, monitors residents’ health, safety, and well-being, and promptly reports changes in residents’ physical condition or behavior to the Wellness Director. The role also assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating.

The position is at Courtyard at Centerville. The listed schedule is full-time days, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Encore Senior Living offers training and is willing to train the right candidate. The communities are drug-free workplaces and equal opportunity employers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• In Ohio, must be a Licensed Nurse.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred.
