Youth Villages is seeking a licensed teacher for its residential programs in Tennessee and Georgia, which provide structured, supportive environments for youth ages 6 to 17 with complex behavioral and mental health challenges. Most youth attend fully accredited schools on campus as they continue their education alongside therapeutic support. Schools operate year-round, and standard class sizes range from 8 to 15 youth, allowing more individual attention to students’ educational needs. The teacher plans and delivers instruction tailored to individual and group needs, assesses academic progress, and maintains school and treatment-related documentation. The position requires work with youth who may have significant behavioral needs and may involve physical intervention when necessary. Applicants must complete Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and CPR trainings and pass an agility and strength evaluation. The role requires a current, valid driver’s license. The stated salary range is $58,000–$69,000 per year, based on education and classroom teaching experience, with a $1,000 increase for each year of experience up to 10 years.
