About The Position
Backpack Healthcare is growing in Oklahoma and is seeking compassionate, dedicated therapists to provide high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults across the state. This is a part-time, remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As a clinician-led, minority-owned organization, Backpack Healthcare is committed to supporting both clients and therapists.
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma independent license (LPC, LCSW)
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families—or a passion for serving this population
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care

Responsibilities
- Provide 15–22 telehealth sessions per week, delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Oklahoma.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
- Develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators.
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR).
- Support families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care.
