About The Position

Charlie Health is seeking exceptional Licensed Mental Health Therapists/Counselors to provide remote, telehealth services to adolescents and young adults. We are looking for forward-thinking mental health and substance use professionals to enhance our programming and provide the best possible care. The role involves providing telehealth services in a virtual setting, with positions available as part-time or full-time W-2 employees. Part-time requires a minimum of 12 hours/week with flexible scheduling, while full-time requires 40 hours/week with evening and Saturday availability. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in integrating multiple therapeutic modalities, experienced with teens and young adults, passionate about group services, collaborative, creative, engaging on video, committed to self-care, and dedicated to addressing the rural mental health crisis.

Requirements

MUST HOLD AN INDEPENDENT OR ASSOCIATE LICENSURE IN NEW YORK
Licenses Accepted: Pre-Licensed Social Workers, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC-D, LMFT-D
Master’s degree in mental health or related field
Experience with youth/young adults highly preferred
Availability between 12-40 hours/week depending on part-time or full-time W2
Familiar with cloud-based tools (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox), EMR, and outcomes software
Available evenings to meet client needs
Committed to self-care and addressing the rural mental health crisis

Nice To Haves

EMDR certification a plus
MI certification a plus

Responsibilities

Provide telehealth services to adolescents and young adults in a virtual setting.
Integrate multiple modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification a plus).
Provide group services.
Collaborate with a team and participate in case discussions.
Build strong relationships with clients, with a maximum of 8 clients in a group.
Engage clients effectively on video.
