About The Position

Bethlehem Counseling Associates (BCA) is seeking to contract with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to treat 25-35 clients per week. This independent contractor position offers flexible scheduling to support work-life balance and lifestyle. A furnished office is available for in-person sessions, with the flexibility to perform telehealth sessions from a home location. BCA is a premier counseling practice in the Lehigh Valley with over 40 years of experience and a 97% client satisfaction rate, offering individual, child/family, and couples counseling, as well as medication management. With over 30 independently contracting therapists, BCA covers a wide range of clinical specialties. The practice values collaboration, peer consultation, and is an approved CE provider. BCA has 11 commercial contracts with insurance providers, and their administrative staff can assist with credentialing, billing, collections, and scheduling, allowing clinicians to focus on client care and note completion. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain rapport with clients
  • Evaluate and diagnose mental health symptoms during intake sessions
  • Create treatment plans that reflect clients' goals to reduce mental health symptoms
  • Complete session progress notes in a timely manner for insurance submission and reimbursement
  • Conduct ongoing appointments with clients that reflect their treatment goals
  • Provide crisis management and intervention as needed
