About The Position

CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking a bilingual Cantonese Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join its APA-approved, clinician-led behavioral health team. The organization provides adult and geriatric mental health services in skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. This role serves adult and senior populations in partnered facilities in Brooklyn, New York, and offers full-time or part-time opportunities. Counselors can create a weekday schedule between 7 AM and 7 PM, with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. The position offers a steady caseload without cancellations and the option to work close to home. It may suit newly licensed counselors or clinicians seeking supplemental work.

The counselor provides psychotherapy and behavioral health services, works independently within an integrated care team, and customizes treatment plans to meet each patient’s needs. CHE provides training and supervision in geropsychology, a supportive clinical environment, and opportunities for leadership and advancement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of practice.
