Licensed Massage Therapist
About The Position
Hand & Stone is hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist for its new Anna, Texas spa. As a founding team member, the therapist will help shape the spa’s culture, guest experience, and success while building lasting client relationships. The role focuses on customized treatments and wellness plans that support clients’ individual needs and encourage repeat visits. Compensation is estimated at $200–$300 per day, including base pay, service commissions, enhancement commissions, and gratuities, based on performing five services per day. Customized onboarding schedules are designed around client demand and business needs. The spa provides supplies, uniforms, linens, amenities, equipment, marketing, and operational support. Therapists have access to continuing education, including 12 free CE credits as part of new-hire training, and career growth opportunities within a wellness brand with more than 600 locations nationwide.
Requirements
- Active Texas Massage Therapist License.
- Ability to carry massage therapy liability insurance.
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping clients feel their best.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities
- Create customized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and wellness goals.
- Deliver therapeutic experiences that encourage repeat visits and long-term client relationships.
- Educate clients about recommended services, enhancements, and wellness plans.
- Maintain professionalism, cleanliness, and organization in treatment rooms and common areas.
- Collaborate with team members to provide an outstanding spa experience for every guest.
- Maintain an active Texas Massage Therapist License.
- Carry or obtain massage therapy liability insurance.
