About The Position
Viva Day Spa + Med Spa is hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist for its Atlanta location in the Morningside neighborhood, which is scheduled to open in January 2027. The therapist will provide exceptional therapeutic and relaxation-focused massage experiences, combining technical expertise, intuition, and genuine care to create personalized treatments that support guest wellness and reflect Viva’s standards of hospitality and professionalism. The role involves tailoring treatments to guests’ goals, preferences, and health considerations; developing trusting, lasting guest relationships; educating guests about treatment recommendations and wellness practices; documenting treatments accurately; and maintaining sanitation and safety standards. The therapist will also support guest satisfaction, retention, rebooking, and a collaborative team culture. Requirements
- Active Texas Massage Therapy License.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and therapeutic massage techniques.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
- Ability to stand and move throughout scheduled shifts.
- Ability to perform repetitive massage movements safely and effectively.
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 6 months of professional massage experience preferred.
- Luxury spa, hospitality, wellness, or resort experience preferred.
