About The Position

Currently hiring licensed journeymen electricians to join the team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in a data center environment. The position requires working 55–60+ hours per week. Licensed journeymen are paid $64 per hour, with $175 per diem on days worked for those who live more than 60 miles away.

Requirements

Hold a current, active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License, or be able to reciprocate into Iowa before starting.
Have experience with conduit installation, cable tray, feeders, and terminations.
Be able to work 55–60 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

Commercial and/or data center electrical experience.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a data center environment.
Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
Install cable tray and pull and terminate feeders, power wiring, and control wiring.
Install and connect switchgear, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Perform work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site safety requirements.
