About The Position

Oliver Mechanical Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems. The role involves interpreting diagrams and construction plans, locating and documenting underground piping, repairing or replacing plumbing fixtures, and using plumbing tools and welding equipment. Work generally begins at customer job sites, which vary according to project needs and may cover a wide geographic area. The employee must be able to work in all weather conditions and temperatures and perform physically demanding tasks. Requirements

Documented Journeyman Plumber license (required).
Strong working knowledge of plumbing and building codes.
Hands-on experience with plumbing tools and repair techniques.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in physically demanding environments.
Collaborative, positive, and respectful attitude, with the ability to work well with diverse teams and individuals.
Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures.

Responsibilities

Install pipes, fixtures, fittings, and drainage systems.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including addressing leaks, blockages, and corrosion.
Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
Locate underground piping and accurately document its location on blueprints.
Repair or replace fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and faucets.
Safely use plumbing tools, including augers and welding equipment.
Complete projects with high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
