About The Position

MTC Care is hiring a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker to provide behavioral health services in long-term care facilities. The role serves as a social work consultant to under-resourced care teams and offers an established caseload, dedicated support staff, and no administrative burden. The clinician provides psychotherapy, screenings, treatment planning, education, and consultation for adults and/or seniors, including patients with severe persistent mental illness. The position is described as hybrid and full-time at 32 hours per week.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work.
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the ability to practice and bill independently.
• Active license to practice in the state(s) where MTC Care operates.
• Significant experience treating adult and/or senior patients, particularly patients exhibiting severe persistent mental illness.
• Strong communication skills and cultural humility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a seasoned social work consultant in long-term care facilities.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
• Complete mood- and symptom-based screenings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for adults and/or seniors.
• Provide in-service education.
• Collaborate with facility staff and consult with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
