About The Position

We are hiring a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker to provide remote behavioral health services to clients in Alabama. The role combines psychotherapy with a broad clinical social work perspective, including attention to personal, family, and social factors that may affect a client’s mental health. The clinician works directly with clients, maintains responsibility for clinical records, and helps identify additional resources or services when needs extend beyond therapy. This is a full-time remote/telehealth role with a Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Salary is $115,000–$120,000 per year, with full benefits.

Requirements

Active Alabama LICSW license in good standing.
Comfort using telehealth tools, electronic documentation systems, and remote client communication.
Strong assessment skills and ethical judgment.
Ability to manage a full-time caseload.
Ability to support clients with both emotional concerns and practical life stressors.
Clear writing skills.
Reliable private workspace for virtual sessions.

Responsibilities

Provide individual psychotherapy through secure telehealth sessions.
Review psychosocial factors that may be affecting a client’s well-being.
Address emotional, behavioral, and life-related concerns during treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Identify when community resources, referrals, or additional services may be appropriate.
Use professional judgment when client needs or risk levels change.
Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
Follow Alabama LICSW licensing, ethical, and telehealth requirements.
