About The Position
Provide therapy to adults in West Virginia through virtual appointments. The role involves understanding clients’ clinical concerns and day-to-day circumstances, delivering direct therapy and clinical support, following up on cases, maintaining documentation, and helping clients connect with other services when their needs fall outside the scope of counseling. The position follows a Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and offers a salary of $115,000–$120,000 per year.
Requirements
- Active West Virginia LICSW license.
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Experience in clinical mental health treatment.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms.
- Strong organization and professional judgment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with adults.
- Review each client’s history, current concerns, and overall situation.
- Provide diagnosis and clinical support within scope of practice.
- Keep session notes and other required records complete and current.
- Revisit cases when symptoms, circumstances, or risk levels change.
- Help clients access community, healthcare, or support services when appropriate.
- Communicate with other providers when coordination is needed.
- Follow West Virginia licensing, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
