About The Position
Great Clips is a locally owned franchise hiring licensed stylists and barbers. They offer a guaranteed competitive base wage, with successful stylists earning $20-$50 per hour in total effective wage (base wage plus productivity, product commissions, and tips). The company handles customer acquisition, marketing, and administrative tasks, allowing stylists to focus on their skills. They provide ongoing training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment. The role involves consulting with customers, shampooing, cutting, and styling hair for all ages, recommending products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A valid Cosmetology or Barber license, strong cutting skills (or eagerness to develop them), genuine customer service instincts, reliability, and a team-first attitude are required. Availability including some evenings and weekends is also necessary.

Responsibilities
- Consult with customers, listen to what they actually want, and make professional recommendations.
- Shampoo, cut, and style hair for the whole family.
- Recommend the right products for each customer's hair.
- Keep your station and the salon clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Work as part of a team so no customer waits longer than they have to.
