About The Position

SmartStyle Salon, conveniently located inside Walmart, is a premier salon offering high-quality hair services. Our team of passionate and talented professional hairstylists is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. Requis Inc., the franchise owner, is one of the largest salon franchise operators in the United States, with more than 500 employees nationwide. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, understand each guest’s needs, provide quality consultations, and perform requested services in an efficient and professional manner.

Requirements

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Comfortable using technology and performing basic administrative tasks
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Good eyesight to observe a guest’s hair, including close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Comfortable standing, moving, lifting, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive movements throughout the workday
• Comfortable occasionally lifting 10–25 lbs
• Comfortable working around salon products, fragrances, and chemicals

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service
• Understand each guest’s needs

• Closing out the salon system when required
