About The Position

One of the Twin Cities’ established, privately owned oral surgery practices is seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Assistant to join its clinical team. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced clinical setting, works well as part of a team, and wants to expand their skills in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The practice is looking for a motivated, organized, dependable, and patient-focused team member committed to delivering high-quality care and an excellent patient experience. The Licensed Dental Assistant will assist surgeons during oral surgery procedures, prepare surgical rooms and equipment, support patients throughout their procedures, take diagnostic radiographs, maintain clinical documentation, and follow sterilization and infection-control protocols. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with day shifts of eight hours and occasional overtime as needed. Work is in person.

Requirements

Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.
Nitrous Oxide Certification.
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Patient-focused approach and commitment to high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

Oral surgery experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during a variety of oral surgery procedures.
Prepare surgical rooms, instruments, and equipment.
Support patients before, during, and after procedures.
Take diagnostic radiographs.
Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols.
Work closely with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly and efficiently.
