About The Position

We are seeking a Licensed Customs Broker with 5+ years of hands-on experience in customs entry processing to join our growing brokerage team. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in HTS classification, PGA compliance, and high-volume entry processing, including e-commerce and de minimis shipments. The successful candidate will have experience managing formal, informal, and Type 86 entries, while ensuring full compliance with CBP and Participating Government Agency (PGA) requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customs brokerage experience
  • Strong knowledge of HTS classification and tariff research
  • Experience with formal, informal, and Consolidated Entries
  • Experience processing de minimis and small parcel shipments
  • Familiarity with PGA filing requirements including FDA, APHIS, Fish & Wildlife, EPA, and Lacey Act
  • Strong understanding of CBP regulations and compliance procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
  • Customs Broker’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with brokerage software platforms such as: Descartes / NETCHB, Magaya / Acelynk
  • Experience working with high-volume e-commerce shipments
  • Prior experience processing consolidated entries
  • Chinese language skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries, including formal, informal, and Type 86 entries
  • Manage small parcel and de minimis shipments
  • Perform accurate HTS classification and tariff research
  • Ensure compliance with CBP regulations and entry requirements
  • File entries through ACE and coordinate required PGA submissions
  • Review commercial invoices and shipping documentation for accuracy
  • Manage and process consolidated entries
  • Communicate with importers, carriers, and government agencies to resolve clearance issues
  • Maintain compliance with Participating Government Agency (PGA) requirements, including: FDA, APHIS, Lacey Act, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, EPA
  • Monitor shipment status and ensure timely clearance
