About The Position

RHA Health Services is hiring a credentialed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) to provide behavioral health services in person in Taylorsville. The clinician provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination for people experiencing mental health and co-occurring conditions, including substance use disorders, personality disorders, and challenges involving family, social, educational, and community support systems. The role involves person-centered collaboration with clients, families, interdisciplinary treatment teams, and community partners to support positive clinical outcomes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no on-call hours. The listed salary range is $50,000 to $60,000.

For roles requiring transportation of individuals, proof of a driver's license, insurance, and vehicle may be required.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited program.
• Current North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) credential; must maintain a valid license or provisional license issued by the governing board.
• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing complex mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication, crisis intervention, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Exercise sound professional judgment, maintain confidentiality, and provide services consistent with agency policies, professional ethics, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete pre-employment screening, which may include criminal background and registry checks, drug testing, education verification, and credentialing.
• If driving is required to transport individuals, provide proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and formulate treatment recommendations.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Assess and treat individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans addressing identified needs and goals.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, community support staff, care coordinators, and other treatment-team members.
• Coordinate care with external stakeholders, including families, schools, healthcare providers, social service agencies, and legal entities when appropriate.
• Complete clinical documentation according to agency, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Participate in clinical staffing, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide support and coverage for Program Directors and fellow therapists as needed.
• Maintain professional licensure, continuing education requirements, and ethical standards of practice.
• Coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team and serve as an active, collaborative, and positive team member.
