About The Position
Stranger Soccer is seeking an entrepreneurial License Owner to launch and grow its operation in Charlotte. This is not a salaried management role; it is an opportunity to build and operate a local business while making football more accessible in the community. The License Owner will work independently while partnering with Stranger Soccer headquarters and receiving support from established operations and technology teams. Rewards are tied to performance and growth. Stranger Soccer is an app-based platform that helps players discover nearby football games, book a spot, and show up to play. Founded in Singapore, the company operates in more than 10 cities and has delivered over 100,000 games worldwide. Its mission is to make playing football as easy as going for a jog, with a vision of making football as popular and accessible to play as it is to watch.
Requirements
- Passion for football and strong connections within the local football community.
- Experience in management, operations, sales, or customer-facing roles.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
- A strong sense of ownership and ambition to grow Stranger Soccer locally.
- Motivation to deliver results, with rewards tied to performance and growth.
Responsibilities
- Launch and grow the Stranger Soccer brand in Charlotte.
- Recruit, train, and manage a small local team of 2–3 people, supported by Official Hosts.
- Secure suitable football venues and regular playing opportunities.
- Drive marketing and customer growth through digital and local initiatives.
- Oversee game operations and deliver an outstanding player experience.
- Work closely with Stranger Soccer headquarters, supported by its operations and technology teams.
