About The Position

The LPN II implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in assessing, planning, intervening in, and evaluating nursing care. The LPN II uses advanced patient-care skills after receiving education and training. The urgent care centers are open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Evening, weekend, and holiday work is required. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours, and the position requires flexibility to work at all seven urgent care locations; schedule and location preferences will be considered.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing, or otherwise meet the educational requirements outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Thirty-hour IV certification.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR.
• FL LPN: Florida Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Flexibility to work shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours and at all seven urgent care locations.
