Requirements

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Nice To Haves

Experience with family law is a plus.

Responsibilities

Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining the office calendar, managing email correspondence, filing legal documents, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Communicating with clients on behalf of the attorneys, answering basic legal questions and directing them to the appropriate attorney when necessary.
Drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, under the guidance of the attorneys.
Researching case law and legal precedents as requested by the attorneys.
Billing clients and maintaining financial records for the firm.
Maintaining case files, including tracking important deadlines and ensuring that all necessary documents are filed with the court in a timely manner.
Accompanying attorneys to court hearings and providing administrative support as needed.
