About The Position
ImageCare Radiology is seeking a Full-Time Legal Records Custodian for their Hackettstown office. This role is responsible for disseminating patients' medical and billing statement records to requestors for legal purposes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and New Jersey state laws. All new hires must attend a first-day orientation at the Mount Olive office.
Requirements
- Ability to commute or relocate to Hackettstown, NJ.
- Strong MS Office knowledge.
- Typing Skills.
- Must be vaccinated with the MMR and the yearly flu shot.
Nice To Haves
- Legal Assistance experience.
- Bilingual Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Disseminate patients' medical and billing statement records to requestors for legal purposes.
- Ensure records are handled correctly and in accordance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and New Jersey state laws.
